Healthy, vegetarian/balanced food is part of the retreat experience, including breakfast and dinner daily. Weather permitting, there will be a daily BBQ. The food will be homemade, freshly made with a range of vegetables, fish, and sometimes meat for those meat lovers, so nothing will be out of reach. We will have red and white organic wine to accompany our meals. Why not? We all know life is short :-).
A daily meditation and yoga class will be offered at the start of the day to relax, stimulate, and help guests grow in their own personal practice. The Yoga practice will be on our floating pontoon. We can't ask more! Classes are open to all levels, beginner to practised, and can range from gentle, restorative, and more vigorous vinyasa flow and ashtanga styles.* Style and class levels will be determined and moulded to fit participating students' needs, and with a small intimate retreat class size, students will be able to get personalized attention and comfortability to deeply explore their practice.
On this FORM+FLAVORS retreat, during the other time in the day, we'll enjoy various walks around the area, and focus on classes and experiences to learn about the region and the cuisine/wine. This combines with the asana practice to deepen our mindful experience during the week in a balanced way.

We will have the opportunity to go on bicycle rides.
We will have access to canoes and pedal boats.

A port city on the Seine, Rouen offers an excellent setting for a green break, the time of a bike ride. Beyond its rich architectural heritage, Gothic churches and medieval halftimbered houses, the capital of Normandy is surrounded by

hectares of forest areas.
This stay is made for you! It will allow you to quietly discover the
beautiful house and garden of Cluade Monet, no further than few miles from our yoga retreat.
The old city, on the right bank of the Seine River and surrounded by a natural amphitheatre of hills, has so many historical buildings that it has been called a ville-musée (museum-town). Indeed, much of this area was designated a preservation zone. Despite its variety of architectural styles (from early Gothic to late Flamboyant) and its lack of symmetry, Rouen cathedral is considered one of the finest Gothic churches in France.
Walk along the quays of Rouen, laid out as a promenade, between the Rollet Peninsula and
Lacroix Island, with a detour through the old town.
